Sony Officially Brings PlayStation 4 to Indonesia with 30 Launch Titles and 4 Bundle Sets!
Sony maneuvers quickly in distributing its newest game console, PlayStation 4. After released it in Northern America and Canada on 15 November, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil at the end of November, now Sony had prepared to distribute PS4 in other regions.

Several regions that will get them soon are United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa on 13 December, South Korea and Hong Kong on 17 December, the day after for Taiwan, then Singapore on 19 December, Malaysia on 20 December, India – no fixed date yet, but definitely on December, and Japan that will get it on 22 February 2014. Indonesia, which weren’t mentioned on the launching schedule for Asia, finally get the official confirmation yesterday. Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH), Singapore Branch confirmed that PT Sony Indonesia will officially release PS4 in Indonesia on 9 January 2014. They will also start opening the pre-order for the console today.
PlayStation 4 – coded CUH-1006A B01 – that specifically targeted for Asia region will be released in Indonesia on 9 January at the price of Rp 6,999,000. Sony will also offer bundle set with PlayStation Camera (PS Camera) at the price of Rp 7,399,000. Those who wanted to be the official PS4 first buyer can check Sony’s offer. They opened pre-order period on 5 December 2013 and will end it on 2 January 2014. The pre-order location was limited in certain Sony Center, unfortunately only at two biggest city in Indonesia, Jakarta and Surabaya. Special offer for pre-order buyers of PS Camera bundle set, they will get one-month worth of PlayStation Plus subscription for free.

Unlike Xbox One, Sony didn’t include PS Camera accessories/controller in the bundle set – which means freedom. If you only wish to enjoy the next generation games, you will be content with the 7-million rupiahs bundle set. But if you’re curious with what the accessories update can do, you can try PS Camera bundle set that will give you the full experience of PS4 new features. One example is when you use an app specifically designed to be used with PS Camera such as The Playroom – an augmented reality-based app – where you can interact with virtual beings using DualShock 4.
PlayStation Camera
Since Indonesia will get PS4 on 2014, we will get a lot of game launch title, especially compared to PS4 released in Northern America and Europe. There will be 30 launch titles in total for this console. Also, SCEH adds two most popular PS4 games – Battlefield 4 and Killzone Shadow Fall – in the special bundle sets (minus PC Camera) where the bundle set containing these games will be offered with great price and limited number. You can get Battlefield 4 bundle set for Rp 7,499,000 or Killzone for Rp 7,399,000.
PlayStation 4 Vertical Stand
Other than game or PS Camera, PT Sony Indonesia also offers special PS4 bundle set with HDTV LED Sony BRAVIA W-Series that were also offered in limited number. For this bundle set promo, you can start ordering from 5 December 2013 to 10 January 2014. Sony did not mention the price for this bundle set since it depends on which W-Series LED you choose.
DualShock 4 Magma Red
Along with the PS4 release, Sony will also provide a lot of new PS4 accessories such as DualShock 4 (comes in 2 color variants – Magma Red and Wave Blue – only for Rp 959,000) PlayStation Camera (Rp 959,000), Charging Station for DualShock 4 (Rp 499,000), and Vertical Stand as the holder base for PS4 in vertical position (Rp 399,000). Unlike Xbox One that can only be positioned horizontally, PS4 can be positioned vertically.
DualShock 4 Wave Blue
In order to provide a better service for Indonesian gamers concerning PS4, started from 6 December SCEH offers a new guarantee package for six Southeast Asia countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Those who buy PS4 were eligible for one-year service guarantee for countries included in the guarantee package. The best thing about it is you can claim the guarantee in a different country, as long as it’s still those six countries. For example, if you buy the PS4 in Singapore, the guarantee will still valid in Indonesia.
